The League of Women Voters of the Eden Area hosted its annual Birthday Bash at the Mount Eden Mansion in February. The event celebrated the national organization’s 106th birthday, while raising funds through at-the-door donations and auction proceeds. The LWV empowers voters and defends democracy through advocacy, education, and litigation, serving the communities of Hayward and San Leandro, Ashland, Castro Valley, Cherryland, Fairview, and San Lorenzo.
