Academic administrators address students and faculty during the Innovation Festival Leadership Summit at the Jack and Susan Acosta Entrepreneurship Hub at California State University, East Bay on May 6. The panel, consisting of deans from the university’s colleges and institutions, focused on breaking down institutional silos, aligning departmental resources across separate colleges, and cultivating a campus-wide ecosystem that integrates real-world entrepreneurial practices directly into the core student curriculum.
Beginning August 1, Dr. Michael Merz of San Jose State University will serve as Cal State East Bay’s new Dean of the College of Business and Economics, following the retirement of Dr. Ching-Lih Jan.
