Cal State East Bay students forged a new connection with Hayward community members with the inaugural launch of the GET Lunch program, hosted in partnership with Spectrum Community Services, at the Hayward Area Senior Center.
The new initiative formed by students in CSUEB’s public health program aims to bridge the gap between generations through casual table conversation. Beyond building intergenerational connections, the program addresses student needs by providing free meals.
