Hayward: The city will hold a citywide cleanup/graffiti removal day from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. this Saturday in efforts to improve Hayward’s appearance. Community members are invited to volunteer their assistance in the cleanup.
Oakland: Mayor Jean Quan issued the decampment of Occupy Oakland in Frank Ogawa Plaza last Friday. This past Monday, the Oakland Police Department enforced the “Notice of Violations and Demand to Cease Violations” to protestors who camped over night in the plaza. The police department reports that the operation went smoothly and peacefully.
Dublin: The city announced they would be sponsoring a warrant relief program for defendants who have outstanding arrest warrants at 5 p.m. on Nov. 29 and Dec. 5 at the Mayor’s Court in the Justice Center. The city delivered mail to defendants who met the requirements for the program.
