More than 25,000 walkers of all ages trekked Golden Gate Park’s six mile path in San Francisco’s annual Aids Walk.
An impressive $3 million dollars was raised this year for the treatment and prevention of AIDS.
Each year, 20 companies that call themselves the Gold Team donate a healthy sum of money to the Walk each year. Made up of such companies as The Gap, Chevron, Levi’s, Starbucks and UCSF, they received a Fundraising Award.
