The United States ended January Camp with a win against Costa Rica under new head coach Gregg Berhalter. The men’s team struggled to captalize on fast breaks but after half time, they returned with more energy. Midfielder Sebastian Lletget returned after injuring foot during last year’s world cup qualifier game against Honduras. The team scored both of their goals in the 80th minute with midfielder Jonathan Lewis passing the ball to Sebastian Lletget. In the 88th minute, Sebastian Lletget assisted Paul Arriola, who scored the team’s last goal of the match.
