Pioneer Readers,
This week marks the very first installment of our Bilingual-Spanish section in The Pioneer. This feature will occur every three editions, focusing on issues affecting the Hispanic population in the East Bay as well as highlighting influential and emerging members of our community. In order to elevate our coverage of the East Bay, articles from our Metro section will appear in both Spanish and English. At The Pioneer, we believe in increasing access to information to all members of our community, moving past language barriers and moving towards diversity in media. On behalf of The Pioneer staff, I’m excited for the paper’s creative evolution and look forward to you joining us in it.
