California State University, East Bay’s Theatre and Dance Department presents “Refuge”, a site-specific performance related to the struggles of homelessness, food insecurity, and various crisis situations. The cast has partnered with Pioneers for H.O.P.E. with intentions of gathering non-perishable food items for students in need. The show hopes to present the audience with the opportunity to reflect on what “home” means to different groups and individuals.
