The seasonal Japanese holiday that celebrates the renewal of life was held last weekend in San Francisco. The grand parade, which included the essential portable shrine, called a Mikoshi, began at the Civic Center and ended in Japantown. Classical Japanese dancing, Taiko drumming and martial arts demonstrations rounded out the festivities.

    Dear Photographer Haiming Jin,

The photos are taking forever to load. However…I am amazed by the photo of the karate kid (boy) with the dark brown hair. I admire good photography and that is a GREAT picture!!!

That image can be on some Kid Motivational Ad!!!

How did you capture the kid so happy and cheerful?

    I LOVE the colors!!!
