CSU Chancellor Timothy White receives a cold reception from faculty, staff and students during his visit to Cal State East Bay on Monday. Members of the California Faculty Association and students protested outside the University Union where White spoke and took questions from the audience. Check out Thursday’s edition of The Pioneer to read our full coverage. “No it is not my job to know the details,” White said. “It’s not my job to know that level of details because I think they are nuances.” White spoke in response to a CSUEB Theater and Dance Department faculty member who asked about cuts to their department. White was asked several questions about program and department funding and referred them to their department and administrators for answers.
